ISABELLA & LANDRY

Just another WordPress.com weblog

Spring is Here!

We are loving this gorgeous weather! We play outside every chance we get! The riding toys, swingset, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, strollers, neighbor’s dog—they are all getting played with often! Isabella and Landry were both not feeling well last week–we are all better now thank God! Isabella had bacterial pneumonia and Landry had a viral infection. I guess I caught something as well and had the flu! We are all on the mend now!

We have also been very busy at work–Spring is like Christmas in ladies’ retail: prom, pageants, and Easter is keeping us on the go!

Sam and I went to see the broadway “Wicked” in Birmingham last Saturday night! It was awesome! He got those tickets for me for Christmas this past year! I got to leave work early, we headed out, had a quick and delicious dinner, saw the show, and made it home at 1:00 am! We aren’t ready to spend the night away from the babies! They were just fine th0ugh–sound asleep in their beds with Sam’s parents watching them! The show started at 8:00 pm. It was a 2 and 1/2 hour show with intermission–needless to say it was way past our bedtime when we got home!

Landry and Isabella are doing awesome! They say the funniest things! They play so well together! Isabella loves playing babies, reading books, drawing and coloring, and singing. She is so girly. She loves pink and purple, bracelets, and her clothes and shoes! She also still loves Strawberry Shortcake and Cinderella! Landry loves playing “t-ball”, throwing anything he can get his hands on, playing with the aquadoodle, his airplanes and train, looking at books, and going to the bridge by our neighbor’s house! Favorite foods these days for Isabella are: black eyed peas from Cafe on Main, grapes, blueberries, oat and honey bars,  and sausage! Landry’s favorites include: casseroles from the Cafe, bananas, grapes, mashed potatoes, and blueberries! Since they are over 2 now, we are being a little more experimental with their food! We are letting them try new things every now and then: sweets, fried food, etc!  We have learned Landry will try anything and likes just about all of it! And Isabella only likes what she is used to–however she does love french fries!

I am still trying to get my hands on pictures from my fabulous surprise party! It was so fun! Thanks again to everyone that made my birthday so special! I am so behind on thank-you notes! I am very grateful, and will eventually get my notes out!

Happy Easter to everyone!
