Memorial Day/Update

We left bright and early on Sunday to visit Sam’s grandmother in Arkansas. After visiting with the family for a while, one of Sam’s uncles took us to his business! He owns a John Deere store. So as you can imagine, Landry had the greatest time! He got on all of the huge tractors, combines, lawnmowers, etc! His new saying is, “one more minute” He said that about one hundred times when it was time to go! Isabella enjoyed it too! She loved driving the little gator. I have tons of new pictures, so I will really get them on here one day–seriously!

After that, we went to Memphis. We went and saw the ducks at the peabody. That was great! Then we had a great time hanging out, riding the trolley, walking down by the water, and eating! On Monday, we went to the Memphis Zoo! It was wonderful! The babies loved it! Isabella wanted to ride the giraffes! Landry said his favorite part was the hippos! Isabella decided her favorite part was the Sea Lion Show! It is so fun to see things through their eyes!

Isabella is so girly. And of course, I love it! I took her to get her nails done for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago. Ever since then, she always wants me to touch them up! She still loves the movie Strawberry Shortcake, anything to do with ”Princesses”, and she loves reading! She got a tea set the other day and she plays with it all of the time!  Her favorite food is still black eyed peas. But she also really likes hamburgers and french fries! She loves all fruit except watermelon! She will not even try it! It is all I ate while I was pregnant with them, but Landry loves it! So who knows?!?! Both of them love play dough, coloring, blocks, and everything to do with being outside! Landry loves his riding toys, t ball, and his new ball glove! He loves watching “Fox and the Hound” and “Lady and the Tramp”! We are going to see “Dora” in a couple of weeks and they are so excited! They watch her in the mornings during breakfast! Landry also says, “I do that all of the time” It is so funny. The other day they kept jumping off of the couch onto a pile of clothes. I told them to stop, and Landry said, “I do that all of the time” It is hard not to laugh! They both always say, “That is my favorite part” It is so cute to hear them say it during movies, books, etc!

It is so much fun watching these 2 interact! They are seriously best of friends! They hold hands, talk, and share (for the most part) They are growing up too fast! Landry is much more interested in potty training than Isabella is. Well, that is my update for now. We have lots of fun play dates and little trips planned for the summer, so hopefully I will have more updates soon! Oh and is anyone else obsessed with the Jon and Kate drama? I can’t get enough of it!
